CROWN OF THORNS

The crown of thorns reveals what true obedience, love, trust, and perseverance look like.

Often, we hesitate to do what is right because we fear it will cost us. We choose what seems more likely to secure the outcome we want—even when it pulls us away from the ways of God.

Then came Christ.

Jesus showed us that faithfulness is never overlooked by God. His obedience led Him through misunderstanding, false accusation, abandonment, suffering, and ultimately the cross.

Yet He did not choose revenge.
He did not abandon the Father’s will.
He remained faithful to His final breath.

And then came the third day.

Christ was raised from the dead and glorified—the beginning of what God will one day do for all creation. What appeared to be ultimate defeat became the clearest declaration that faithfulness to God is never finally wasted.

The CROWN OF THORNS TEE is a reminder to keep going when obedience feels costly.

When doing right seems unrewarded.
When compromise looks easier.
When faithfulness feels like loss.

God is not inattentive.

The crown reminds us that obedience may cost us deeply—but the empty tomb reminds us that loss does not get the final word.

It is safe to do good, even when doing good costs you everything. Forgiveness costs pride, locking in costs time and effort, following Christ costs our sins.
